How It Works: We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. Benefits: A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn between 400 and 900+ calories per hour, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to your favorite music!Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix™, you’ll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, POUNDing off pounds as each song flies by. Rock, rap, dubstep, pop and old school music.
The Groove DANCEfloor is a dynamically interactive and creative group dance experience. With great music, your facilitator will UNITE everyone in a simple movement or rhythm but you get to dance it your own UNIQUE way. While exploring a variety of styles and genres, we encourage you to enjoy and feel good in your body, every step along the way. You’ll experience everything from slow delicious meditative grooves, to heart thumping and strength building cardio beats. The perfect recipe to nurture your body, mind, heart and soul.
BurleXercise is a fitness based group exercise class similar to other dance style fitness classes but with integrating Burlesque moves. Deb O'Connell created and trademarked this fitness style and first did classes in the Kick It Out Dance Studio facility. Try this new type of fitness class and do it with the person who created it!!
