Gina is currently a student at Michigan State University majoring in Elementary Education with a focus on Language Arts. Gina has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She began competing when she was 10 years old and fell deeply in love with the art since then. Gina spent nearly all her dance career at Studio J Dance Company. Over the years, Gina has had experience in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop,

Tap, and Ballet. She was also on her Varsity High School Dance team where she

further incorporated some Pom background. During Gina’s dance career she

received many achievement awards including, Miss Dance America (July

2019), Improv Star Award at DTU camp (July 2018), received the LouAnn Gallant

Scholarship, and received a Hollywood Dance Scholarship Winner from Kenny

Wormald at Nuvo in 2019 to name a few. Gina, along with her small group team,

also won Grand National Champions in 2015 and they further won many regional

and national awards. Gina dreams to pursue choreography and keep dance in her

life for as long as possible. Gina is so excited to be a part of the KIO! staff and instructs for our recreational and competitive dance programs.
