Xosé López is originally from Vigo (Spain), and has more than 17 years of experience in Latin dance, attending, teaching, and performing in dance congresses. His Latin dance education comprises salsa, bachata, chachachá and merengue, and notions of afrocuban dances (Orishas and Palo).

- Cost is $60 for 4 weeks (Invoice will be emailed to you) or if you drop in it’s $20 per class.
- ** MINIMUM OF 5 STUDENTS TO RUN CLASS **
- Beginner level only – coming in June.
- Ask if you are interested in Intermediate class.

Salsa is a syncretic dance form with origins from Cuba as the meeting point of Spanish (European) and African cultures. Salsa is normally a partner dance, although there are recognized solo forms such as solo dancing “suelta” and “Rueda de Casino” where multiple couples exchange partners in a circle. Salsa can be improvised or performed with a set routine.
