About Us

Kick It Out Dance, Music, and Fitness Studio

Our Dance Studio & Core Values

At KIO, students will experience a learning environment that builds confidence & friendships as well as learning discipline, respect, teamwork and appreciation of dance as an art form.  Each one of our student’s personal growths is extremely important to us as well as their technical dance growth!

One of the most important things a dance studio can offer is an inviting and encouraging environment. This means that the staff and instructors are supportive and welcoming, and they go above and beyond to help you or your child feel comfortable and confident while progressing in dance. A good dance studio will also have a positive atmosphere where students encourage each other to do their best.

Another quality of a good dance studio is that there is variety in the dance classes being offered. Some students and parents prefer to take ballet or jazz, while others want to try hip hop, tap, lyrical, and contemporary styles of dance. Whatever your preference may be — or if you’re trying to expose your child to different genres — a great place for dance classes will have a wide variety of styles and levels to choose from.

A good dance studio will also have a well-maintained facility. This means that the studio is clean, organized, and has all of the necessary equipment. We have “sprung” dance floors in all of our studio rooms. The floors should be built with cushioning and shock absorbing features specifically for dancers to prevent injuries and ensure optimal safety and proper ergonomics.

  • Develop confidence and friendships
  • Inviting environment
  • Quality of instruction
  • Positive atmosphere
  • Sprung dance floors – better safety
