Meet Our Star Dance Instructor

Miss Taylor has 13 years of dance experience performing both recreationally and competitively.
From ages 4 to 18, Miss Taylor trained at The Dance Studio, Inc., in Romeo, MI. During this
time she trained in various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Miss
Taylor spent 13 years on The Dance Studio, Inc.’s competition team winning multiple
regional and national titles. During that time Miss Taylor was an assistant teacher for 6
years. Miss Taylor has also been in two musicals and one play where she got to explore
musical theater.

Miss Taylor is a 2022 graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Social Work, and a 2024 graduate of the University of Denver with a Masters degree in
Social Work. She currently works for Mitten Mental Health as a Child and Adolescent
therapist focusing in trauma work. Miss Taylor is excited to bring her love for working with
kids to KIO and continue her passion for dance.
