Mr. Jody has extensive experience from Youth sports coaching in both the local Catholic Youth league, AAU, and Special Olympics. He has also served as an Athletic Director. He has the responsibilities of running the studio with Fitness and Music, and you may find Jody doing computer support, building things/upgrades for the studio, maintenance around the studio, janitorial work, or whatever is necessary to help! He also enjoys taking adult tap class and also being a part of the dad’s dance. Jody is also our Vocal, Ukulele, Bass Guitar, and Trombone instructor as well. He also builds & coordinates all the Competitive team props and the Props team. This past year Mr. Jody completed training with the Army of Survivors Compassionate Coaches program. Compassionate Coach is an educational training course from The Army of Survivors (TAOS) that aims to develop trauma-informed coaches for athletes. The course is designed to help coaches understand trauma, how it affects child athletes, and how to adjust their coaching style to create a safe and secure sporting environment. It also helps coaches develop interpersonal skills and coaching styles that are collaborative with athletes, parents, and other coaches. I will be working with our staff with training and instituting guidelines and protocol that we will be following.
