The mission of Youth Protection Association for Dance™ is to bring awareness to and provide guidance for one essential priority: the safety and health of dance students.
KIO Dance Studio will be going through a 3 month process to become YPAD certified, and all of our staff will be involved. CPR/First Aid trained, Background checks for our staff, Steward of Childrens certification with Darkness to Light’s program, Youth Mental Health First aid certification, a fully written Emergency Action Plan for our facility and off-site events, Safeguarding pledge signed by all KIO staff, and a signed YPAD Certified Studio agreement.
